Job summary

Traveloka is seeking a Fraud Investigator based in Jakarta to monitor and investigate fraudulent activities on payments and promotions. You will respond to internal fraud reports and take immediate actions, coordinating with Fraud Analytics as needed.

The role requires 1–3 years in fraud/payments or lending operations, independent decision-making, and strong English communication across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in fraud payments or lending operations with owned investigations.
• Make confident, well-reasoned decisions and document to audit standard.
• Influence partners with evidence, not authority, and ship fixes.
• Communicate clearly in English, in writing and speaking.
• Work across multiple markets, rules, and regulatory contexts.
• Experience across Southeast Asian lending markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor suspicious fraud transactions on payments, promo abuse, and platform fraud.
• Investigate dispute-eligible and potential non-paylater fraud transactions.
• Handle escalated customer complaints related to payment and platform fraud.
• Respond promptly to fraud reports from internal Traveloka parties and escalate to Fraud Analytics when needed.
