Job summary

TechConnect GmbH is seeking an Operations Manager for forest carbon projects. You will oversee field teams and ensure carbon measurement aligns with SNI 7724:2019, while coordinating monitoring methods with government and partners.

You will develop GIS-based systems, perform stock assessments, and contribute to certification reporting. The role requires a Forestry degree, GIS/RS expertise, and experience with IPCC and VERRA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry is required.
• GIS & Remote Sensing training/certifications preferred (e.g., GIS & Remote Sensing, Carbon Management & Verification).
• Minimum 3–5 years in GIS & Remote Sensing (ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine).
• Experience with carbon measurement methodologies based on SNI 7724:2019, IPCC, and VERRA standards.
• Loyal, detail-oriented, multitasker; strong initiative and innovation; good communication under pressure.
