Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years in analytics, forecasting or planning roles across marketplace or product analytics.
• Strong understanding of plan/fact cycles, target setting and driver-based models.
• Practical command of time-series forecasting with regressors and seasonality.
• Proficient in Python (pandas) and able to extend production codebases.
• Advanced SQL and handling large datasets in cloud warehouses.
• Rigorous validation with baselines and business-impact metrics.
• Experience with end-to-end data and model integration testing.
• Professional working proficiency in English for stakeholder communication.
• Nice to have: mobility/marketplace or supply-demand systems background.
• Nice to have: experience in FP&A, S&OP or budgeting processes.
• Nice to have: econometrics, causal inference, and marketing-response models.

Responsibilities

• Own the forecast as a decision-making product and explain variances.
• Support planning cycles with baselines for target setting and budgeting.
• Build and run scenario analyses for pricing, incentives, and launches.
• Maintain dependency logic linking supply, demand, and financial metrics.
• Translate ambiguous questions into measurable forecasting problems.
• Communicate assumptions and limitations to business and technical audiences.
• Run and monitor daily and monthly forecasts with data integrity checks.
• Investigate anomalies from inputs to forecast outputs.
• Improve models pragmatically using baselines and validation.
• Maintain readable, documented, version-controlled Python solutions.
