Job summary

Utopia Concept Bali is seeking a warm and experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to guide a small F&B team within a boutique hospitality concept in Bali. You will be hands-on during service, ensuring warm and attentive guest experience across restaurant and bar operations.

Responsibilities include leading daily operations, coordinating breakfast to dinner service, training junior staff, managing stock and waste, and upselling to enhance guest experiences while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food & Beverage, ideally with Team Leader, Captain, Supervisor, or similar responsibilities.
• Strong operational skills with hands-on leadership during service.
• Good English communication and guest-focused mindset.

Food & Beverage Team Leader

Utopia Concept Bali is looking for a warm, experienced, and service-minded Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our boutique hospitality team.

We are seeking someone who combines genuine hospitality with strong operational skills and can confidently lead a small F&B team while remaining actively involved in daily service.

Your Role

As our Food & Beverage Team Leader, you will:

• Lead and support the F&B team during daily operations and service
• Ensure consistently warm, professional, and attentive guest service
• Coordinate breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, and beverage service
• Welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and remain hands-on during busy periods
• Prepare and supervise quality coffee, barista-style beverages, cocktails, mocktails, and simple bar drinks
• Maintain service standards, presentation, cleanliness, and organization across restaurant and bar areas
• Brief the team and help organize daily tasks and responsibilities
• Train and coach team members on service, menu knowledge, drinks, and guest interaction
• Monitor stock levels, bar supplies, and basic inventory control
• Help minimize waste and ensure proper handling of F&B products
• Communicate closely with the kitchen, front office, housekeeping, and management
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and small service issues calmly and professionally
• Encourage natural and elegant upselling of food, drinks, and guest experiences
• Help ensure that Utopia’s service standards are followed consistently every day

Special Skills Highly Valued

We are especially looking for someone with strong experience in:

• Leading or supervising a restaurant, bar, café, hotel, or villa F&B team
• Barista work and coffee preparation
• Cocktail and mocktail preparation

• Bar setup, stock control, and cleanliness
