Job summary

Karmafree Surf Shop in Bali, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily operations across the floor, bar, and kitchen.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, professional, proactive, and reliable Food & Beverage Supervisor to help lead our daily F&B operations and maintain a high standard of hospitality and guest experience.

This role will work closely with the Head Barista and management team. The main focus will be supervising daily F&B operations, supporting and guiding the team, maintaining service standards, and ensuring smooth and professional operations across the floor, bar, and kitchen.

Main Responsibilities

Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations during assigned shifts.

Lead, support, and motivate the front‑of‑house team to deliver excellent service.

Maintain high standards of hospitality, service quality, and guest experience.

Monitor guest satisfaction and handle questions, requests, and complaints calmly and professionally.

Support team members during busy periods and ensure smooth coordination between the floor, barista, and kitchen teams.

Guide and coach junior staff to improve their service skills and performance.

Assist with training new team members on service standards, SOPs, and daily procedures.

Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, barista team, and management to ensure smooth operations.

Identify and resolve minor operational issues and report important issues to management.

Ensure opening, closing, and daily operational checklists are properly completed.

Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the venue.

Ensure company policies, SOPs, and service standards are consistently followed.

Communicate important operational updates, staff issues, and guest feedback clearly to management.

Help maintain a positive, professional, respectful, and supportive working environment.

Take initiative and make appropriate operational decisions when management is not immediately available.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Food & Beverage, restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality operations.

Previous experience as an F&B Supervisor, Floor Supervisor, Shift Leader, Captain, Senior Staff, or similar leadership role is preferred.

Strong hospitality mindset with excellent guest service skills.

Professional, mature, reliable, proactive, and responsible.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Very good English communication skills.

Confident when communicating with guests and team members.

Able to handle guest complaints and operational challenges calmly and professionally.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, coach, and support team members.
