PT BUMI RASA INDONESIA seeks a cost accounting professional to lead local cost logic across materials, overhead and production. You will verify documents, manage inventory discrepancies and deliver monthly cost analyses.
The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing finance, Indonesian accounting qualification, and Mandarin fluency for collaboration with China headquarters. Long-term on-site work in Indonesia is expected.
1. Master local Indonesian manufacturing cost accounting logic, including raw material receiving and requisitioning, workshop working hour allocation, manufacturing expense collection, and cost carry-forward of semi-finished and finished products.
2. Verify warehouse inbound and outbound documents and inventory checklists, handle inventory counting discrepancies, and allocate costs for defective products and production losses.
3. Prepare monthly cost reports, analyze material loss and unit production cost fluctuations, and deliver professional cost analysis statements.
4. Conduct full review of daily accounting vouchers in strict accordance with Indonesian tax laws, and participate in the review of financial process nodes.
5. Complete monthly closing and cost accounting work on schedule, and accept short-term overtime work during month-end closing periods.
6. Sort out and file accounting vouchers, bind financial archives monthly, and ensure all files comply with Indonesian fiscal and tax archive management standards.
7. Maintain smooth internal and external communication with China headquarters finance team, cross-departmental teams, and local Indonesian government institutions and business partners.
8. Proficient in basic office software to complete daily financial document sorting, data statistics and report production.
9. Strictly abide by financial confidentiality rules, and keep confidential all core corporate data including production costs, operating revenue and employee salaries.
1. Language & Work Location: Able to work on-site in Indonesia on a long-term and stable basis. Proficient in Indonesian (spoken and written), capable of independently handling official documents and communications with local tax bureaus, banks and other government institutions. Fluent in Mandarin to communicate and collaborate with the finance team of China headquarters smoothly.
2. Education & Professional Qualification: College degree or above, major in Accounting, Financial Management, Taxation, Economics or other related fields. Possess valid local Indonesian accounting practicing qualification; tax operation certificate is preferred. Familiar with local Indonesian accounting systems, fiscal policies and tax laws and regulations.
3. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of full-time finance working experience in the manufacturing industry. Hands-on experience in independent cost accounting and full voucher review, familiar with factory purchase, sales and inventory management as well as production cost collection. Prior working experience in Chinese-invested manufacturing factories in Indonesia is highly preferred.
