Job summary

BYD Indonesia is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to manage full-cycle accounting in line with Indonesian standards, including vouchers, bookkeeping, and monthly closings. The role requires strong ledger management, tax support, and asset accounting with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.

The candidate should be fluent in Indonesian with advanced English and familiarity with PSAK, DJP e-Faktur, ERP systems, and Excel. Overtime during busy periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1-2 years of full-cycle accounting experience in local Indonesian companies.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for an Accounting Assistant training position.
• Fluent in Indonesian; able to prepare vouchers and notes and conduct basic business communication.
• Familiar with PSAK, DJP e-Faktur, ERP systems, and Excel for ledger management.
• Strong attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors; able to work overtime during month-end and quarter-end closings.
• Advanced English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting in compliance with local Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations. Handle voucher preparation, bookkeeping, reconciliation, and cost collection. Accurately account for revenue, costs, and expenses to ensure the authenticity and integrity of financial records.
• Organize and archive vouchers, ledgers, and financial documents. Perform monthly and quarterly closing on time and prepare basic financial statements to provide data for management analysis. Manage reconcilable accounts (AR, AP, and intercompany accounts), perform regular reconciliations, and follow up on clearance.
• Process daily tax-related accounting entries. Assist with tax filings and invoice management, verify tax-related data, and provide financial materials to external tax and audit institutions. Enforce company financial policies by reviewing expense reimbursement documents for compliance.
• Manage asset accounting, including asset recording and reconciliation. Assist with month-end and year-end closing and inventory counts. Promptly report and handle any accounting discrepancies. Complete other financial tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
• 1-2 years of full-cycle accounting experience in local Indonesian companies. Experience in auto finance, financial leasing, or micro-credit is preferred. Outstanding fresh graduates may be considered for a training position as an Accounting Assistant.
• Fluent in Indonesian （reading and writing）; able to independently prepare accounting vouchers and notes, and conduct basic business communication.
• Familiar with Indonesian PSAK accounting standards, DJP e-Faktur (electronic invoicing) system, and common tax accounting. Proficient in ERP financial systems and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for ledger management. Understanding of financial industry accounting logic regarding accrued interest, asset impairment, and mortgaged vehicles.
• Meticulous and principled, with zero tolerance for accounting errors. Must be able to handle overtime during month-end and quarter-end closing periods. Strong execution ability.
• Strict confidentiality regarding financial records, funds, and cost data. Must have a clean professional record with no history of accounting fraud, ticket forgery, or misappropriation of funds.
• Language Required: Advanced English. Mandarin is a plus.
