- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK) and Group accounting policies.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets accounting.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis, and management reporting.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
2. Group Reporting
- Prepare and submit monthly closing packages to the Singapore Headquarters in accordance with the Group reporting timetable.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all Group reporting schedules.
- Coordinate with the Regional Finance team on monthly closing activities and reporting matters.
- Support Group financial consolidation by providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and reporting requirements.
3. Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and submit all Indonesian statutory tax filings, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other applicable tax returns.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants on tax compliance and advisory matters.
- Prepare and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation and related-party transaction schedules in accordance with Indonesian regulations and Group policies.
- Monitor changes in Indonesian tax and accounting regulations and assess their impact on the business.
- Support statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections by preparing the required schedules and documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of all statutory filings and regulatory reports.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Support
- Assist in monitoring daily cash balances and banking transactions.
- Support the preparation of periodic cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports.
- Coordinate payment processing and fund transfers in accordance with company policies.
- Liaise with banks on routine banking operations, account maintenance, and banking documentation.
- Support the Regional Finance team on treasury and cash management activities as required.
5. Internal Control & Audit
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal control policies and finance procedures.
- Assist in Group internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits.
- Ensure accounting records and finance documentation are properly maintained and filed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Support the implementation of finance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
6. Human Resources Support
- Coordinate monthly payroll with external payroll service providers.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Coordinate employment contracts, employee benefits, statutory registrations, and other HR administrative matters.
- Provide administrative support for local HR activities as required.
7. Administration Support
- Oversee general office administration and daily office operations.
- Coordinate office procurement and vendor management.
- Maintain company licenses, statutory records, and corporate documents.
- Liaise with government authorities, service providers, and external consultants on administrative matters.
- Coordinate business travel arrangements, meetings, and other office administrative activities.
8. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary finance contact for the Indonesia entity and maintain effective communication with the Singapore Headquarters and Regional Finance team.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, company secretary, corporate service providers, and government authorities.
- Support cross-functional collaboration on finance, compliance, and operational matters.
- Participate in regional finance initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Regional Finance Manager or Finance Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in a multinational company.
- Solid knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK), Indonesian tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience in full-set accounting, monthly financial closing, and Group reporting.
- Experience in Transfer Pricing documentation and related-party transactions is preferred.
- Experience working with a Singapore-based regional finance team or within a multinational company will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Microsoft Business Central, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
