English 1 Indonesia seeks an experienced finance professional to lead AP, reconciliations, month-end closing, and compliance. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, cross-border experience, and staff supervision in a multinational context.
The candidate will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely closings, and adherence to internal controls and tax requirements. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience are essential.
Oversee AP and payment processes, ensuring invoice completeness, accurate processing, timely payments, and resolution of outstanding issues.
Review vendor master data, incentive payments, employee reimbursements, and supporting documents before final approval.
Review weekly cash-out bank reconciliations for Indonesia and Vietnam, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.
Review incoming payments, reconcile bank receipts against invoices and accounting records, and resolve unmatched transactions.
Coordinate with vendors, employees, and relevant departments to resolve payment and finance-related issues.
Review GL transactions, account classifications, and system-related posting issues; initiate necessary corrections and adjustments.
Manage the monthly closing timetable, assign responsibilities, and ensure all deliverables are completed on time
Review accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, foreign currency revaluation, and closing journals.
Maintain and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and closing binders, investigate variances and outstanding balances, and ensure timely resolution and necessary adjustments.
Review AR aging, ensure regular clean-up of outstanding and negative balances, and resolve reconciliation differences.
Review book inventory reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure necessary accounting adjustments are recorded.
Review monthly royalty calculations and related invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Review intercompany balances, investigate differences, and ensure timely reconciliation and resolution.
Review P&L accounts and monthly financial results, prepare first-level analytical reviews, and resolve discrepancies before reporting.
Ensure closing figures and supporting schedules are complete, accurate, and finalized before submission to the Head of Reporting, Tax and Compliance.
Coordinate local and Group audit requirements, prepare supporting schedules, and follow up outstanding audit findings.
Support Transfer Pricing documentation and perform first-level reviews of Corporate Income Tax calculations and supporting schedules.
Review inventory stock-take results, reconciliations, and related accounting adjustments.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, finance procedures, and applicable internal controls.
Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, month-end closing, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Good knowledge of Indonesian taxation, including CIT and Transfer Pricing.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including team supervision.
Experience in multinational companies is an advantage.
Professional certification or Big 4 experience is a plus.
