Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with PSAK and Group accounting policies.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded in the accounting system.
  • Manage AP, AR, GL, and Fixed Assets accounting.
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Submit monthly closing packages to Singapore Headquarters following Group timetable.
  • Coordinate with Regional Finance on monthly closing and reporting matters.
  • Prepare Indonesian statutory tax filings (VAT, CIT, WHT) and other returns.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants on tax compliance.
  • Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation and related-party schedules.
  • Support statutory and tax audits with required schedules and documentation.
  • Monitor changes in Indonesian regulations and assess impact on business.
  • Liaise with banks on daily cash balances and banking operations.
  • Support treasury and cash management activities with the Regional Finance team.
  • Assist in implementing internal controls and SOPs.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll with external providers and maintain HR documentation.
  • Oversee office administration, licenses, and vendor management.
  • Serve as primary finance contact for Indonesia with Singapore HQ and Regional Finance.

Job description

The Senior Finance Executive (Indonesia Operations) is responsible for managing the accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and finance operations of the Indonesia entity. The role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations, and the submission of monthly reporting packages to the Singapore Headquarters.

This role serves as the primary finance contact for the Indonesia entity, working closely with the Singapore Headquarters to support financial reporting, statutory compliance, operational finance matters, and regional finance initiatives.

In addition to finance responsibilities, the role also provides support for local human resources and office administration to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Indonesia office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK) and Group accounting policies.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets accounting.
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
2. Group Reporting
  • Prepare and submit monthly closing packages to the Singapore Headquarters in accordance with the Group reporting timetable.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all Group reporting schedules.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Finance team on monthly closing activities and reporting matters.
  • Support Group financial consolidation by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and reporting requirements.
3. Tax & Statutory Compliance
  • Prepare and submit all Indonesian statutory tax filings, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other applicable tax returns.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants on tax compliance and advisory matters.
  • Prepare and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation and related-party transaction schedules in accordance with Indonesian regulations and Group policies.
  • Monitor changes in Indonesian tax and accounting regulations and assess their impact on the business.
  • Support statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections by preparing the required schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure timely submission of all statutory filings and regulatory reports.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Support
  • Assist in monitoring daily cash balances and banking transactions.
  • Support the preparation of periodic cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports.
  • Coordinate payment processing and fund transfers in accordance with company policies.
  • Liaise with banks on routine banking operations, account maintenance, and banking documentation.
  • Support the Regional Finance team on treasury and cash management activities as required.
5. Internal Control & Audit
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of internal control policies and finance procedures.
  • Assist in Group internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits.
  • Ensure accounting records and finance documentation are properly maintained and filed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support the implementation of finance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
6. Human Resources Support
  • Coordinate monthly payroll with external payroll service providers.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Coordinate employment contracts, employee benefits, statutory registrations, and other HR administrative matters.
  • Provide administrative support for local HR activities as required.
7. Administration Support
  • Oversee general office administration and daily office operations.
  • Coordinate office procurement and vendor management.
  • Maintain company licenses, statutory records, and corporate documents.
  • Liaise with government authorities, service providers, and external consultants on administrative matters.
  • Coordinate business travel arrangements, meetings, and other office administrative activities.
8. Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for the Indonesia entity and maintain effective communication with the Singapore Headquarters and Regional Finance team.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, company secretary, corporate service providers, and government authorities.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration on finance, compliance, and operational matters.
  • Participate in regional finance initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Regional Finance Manager or Finance Director.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Solid knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK), Indonesian tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience in full-set accounting, monthly financial closing, and Group reporting.
  • Experience in Transfer Pricing documentation and related-party transactions is preferred.
  • Experience working with a Singapore-based regional finance team or within a multinational company will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Microsoft Business Central, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good command of English Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting and statutory reporting.
  • Good understanding of Indonesian taxation and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight reporting deadlines.
