Job summary

PT. TDK Electronics INDONESIA in Batam is seeking an Accounting, Finance, and Costing Officer to manage general accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.

You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, PR reviews, and support AP/AR while ensuring compliance with Indonesian GAAP and IFRS. As part of the finance team, you will analyze costs, assist monthly closures, budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, costing, or related fields.
• Familiar with Indonesia local GAAP, IFRS.
• Good understanding of finance, accounting, and internal control principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP SAP and Tax software.
• Knowledge of taxation regulations (Brevet A & B) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Good understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Familiar with manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and controlling principles.
• Able to handle full set accounts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and customer/vendor reconciliations.
• Review and verify purchase requisitions (PR) and related supporting documents in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules required by management and headquarters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required data and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties regarding finance and accounting matters.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance department.
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Costing and controlling: support product costing, cost allocation, and inventory valuation activities.
• Participate in monthly cost closing processes and ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing and operational cost variances and provide explanations.
• Monitor budget utilization and support forecasting activities for assigned cost centers.
• Prepare profitability, cost analysis, and controlling reports for management decision-making.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and enhance cost transparency across business operations.
