Wilhelmsen Ship Management is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in Indonesia to lead the finance team, ensure IFRS compliance, and deliver timely financial reporting. You will coordinate budgeting, tax filings, and audits while collaborating with regional teams and management.

The role requires strong leadership, technical accounting skills, and fluency in English and Thai, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Finance, Audit and CPD or CPA qualification.
• 10 years of finance experience preferred with leadership exposure.
• Proficiency in IFRS and Thai-English communications.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coach finance team to perform account and finance functions.
• Deliver month-end closings and prepare P&L with commentary.
• Review monthly tax reports and VAT/withholding tax filings.

Join our global team for a career filled with opportunities to solve challenges both small and large, local and global, simple and complex.PurposeEnsure that financial presentation is performed in accordance with IFRS / WPS policy.Good business partners with other functional departmentsInterrelationsThe position directly reports to the General Manager – Thailand and functional to Regional Finance DirectorFormal authoritiesIn line with Chart of Authority WPS Asia PacificMain responsibilitiesSupervise and coach finance team to perform account and finance functions in good manner.Deliver Month-end account closing as per WPS Procedure / Requirement in timelyPrepare P&L Monthly Financial Report with commentary to WPS, JV partner, Local ManagementReview monthly tax report & filing for withholding tax, value added taxEnsure operating cash is sufficient.Liaise with Regional Cash Management team for banking facilities (including bank guarantee)Liaise with Regional Credit team to monitor and follow up collection for long outstanding account receivables.Prepare tax calculation (corporate income tax) and submit CIT returnsLiaise with auditor for annual audited statutory report.Perform all corporate matters e.g. Targeting, budget, annual audited statutory account, changing director, assisting in the board meetingsPrepare minutes of BOD, AGM, EGM and other reports as per WPS requirement.Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the companyUnderstand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.Other tasks as requested e.g. analysed dataUphold and ensure confidentiality of company informationAccountabilities:Financial report deadlinesQualificationsBachelor degree in Accountancy, Finance, Audit and CPD or CPA qualificationWork Experience: up to 10 years of finance experienceManagement experience: 5 years minimumProficiency in English and Thai, both written, oral and the ability to work with a multi-national teamProactive, positive attitude towards work, detail-oriented and a good team player with leadership qualitiesGood computer knowledgeHardworking, honest, self-motivated and able to work under pressureProcess InvolvementBOFC / Uniplan Reporting System / BIS/Power BI/SAPNet Connect IFSWorkdayManagement ReviewAnnual Actions Plan ( AAP)#WPS
