Job summary

aCommerce in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting and the general ledger, ensuring accurate monthly closes and timely analysis. You will lead reporting that reveals key drivers of P&L and balance sheet performance, and coordinate with external auditors on the audit process.

The role requires 5–7 years of accounting experience, PSAK knowledge, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines. Prior Big Four exposure and mentoring experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with prior experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, monthly and annual closing, and account reconciliation.
• Experience managing and reviewing general ledger, balance sheet, and P&L statements.
• Familiar with PSAK and applicable tax regulations.
• Experience with external auditors (e.g. Big Four) coordination and preparation of audited statements.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Prepare timely financial reports & to ensure compliance of Financial statement are recorded accurately and timely.
• Prepare standard supplemental reporting that provides analytical insight into the financial drivers of P&L / balance sheet performance.
• Liase with External Auditor & responsible for financial auditing process and reporting.
• Assist the Management with our annual budgeting process together with FP&A.
• Prepare adhoc reporting to support financial line item investigation and resolution also conduct adhoc analysis to support senior management decisions.
• Identify and propose opportunities to increase overall company profitability.
• Control NWC (AR-INV/AP) & Fixed Asset Management.
• Work closely and coordinate with other teams to ensure compliance with Finance Policies and Procedures.
• Improve and develop the business process and procedures.
• Control of Tax Compliance.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

• Experience in leading or mentoring accounting staff is a plus.
