PT Multikarya Asia Pasifik Raya is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Finance, Accounting & Tax Department in Jakarta Selatan. The role drives financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury management, and cost-efficiency initiatives to support profitability.

The successful candidate will lead a team, ensure accurate reporting to IDX/OJK, manage budgets, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced mining/oil & gas related environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in Finance, Accounting, and Tax with at least 8 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in mining, oil, and gas or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, and reporting.
• Familiarity with IDX and OJK reporting requirements preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

This is a senior Finance, Accounting & Tax leadership position responsible for managing the Finance, Accounting & Tax Department. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury management, and leading a team to achieve cost-efficiency targets and support the Company's profitability optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage work plans and budgets for the Finance, Accounting & Tax Department, including monitoring, controlling, and reporting departmental performance
• Lead the Finance, Accounting & Tax Department in achieving cost-efficiency targets and supporting the optimization of the Company's profitability
• Review and ensure the validity, reasonableness, accuracy, and completeness of cash and bank receipt and disbursement reports prepared by the Treasury team
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain strong, professional business relationships
• Follow up on initiatives to identify and secure appropriate sources of operational funding for the Company
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and Company policies
• Oversee tax compliance, tax reporting, and tax audits, ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations
• Prepare and submit financial reports and other required disclosures to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in accordance with applicable regulations
• Monitor and review project budget utilization to ensure expenditures are aligned with approved budgets and Company objectives
• Monitor and manage the Company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity to support business operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax, with at least 8 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role
• Experienced in mining, oil, and gas companies or similar companies
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, treasury, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of Indonesian taxation, including tax compliance, tax reporting, and tax audits
• Familiarity with IDX and OJK reporting requirements and regulations is highly preferred
• Experience in budgeting, budget control, cost management, and financial planning
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, invoice verification, payment processes, and internal financial controls
• Excellent calculation and analytical skills in finance, accounting, and tax
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to develop and supervise a Finance, Accounting & Tax team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP, Sunfish/accounting systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
• Mandarin proficiency is an advantage / Mandarin proficiency is a plus
