• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with GPA ≥3.0.
• 8+ years in Finance/Accounting; Big Four background advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, closing, reconciliations, budgeting, treasury, taxation and internal controls.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decisive with high attention to detail.
• Proven leadership to manage teams and coordinate with auditors, banks, and stakeholders.

Midplaza Building is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee the company's finance and accounting operations. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while supporting the Finance Controller in managing budgeting, treasury, receivables, taxation, and financial performance to drive effective business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards
• Lead and supervise finance and accounting operations, including billing, vendor payments, taxation, treasury, closing, and reporting
• Ensure all financial processes comply with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations
• Coordinate with internal departments to support business operations, including monitoring receivables and outstanding accounts
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and funding needs to ensure smooth operations and timely payments
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets to support effective cost control
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and banks for audits, tax reporting, and compliance requirements
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement in finance and accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum GPA of 3.00)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting; prior experience in a Public Accounting Firm is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end closing, reconciliations, budgeting, treasury, taxation, and internal controls
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively with management, auditors, banks, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement in finance and accounting operations
