Job summary

PT AQS Group Indonesia is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead financial operations in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee cash flow, budgeting, cost management, transfer pricing, and financial reporting, while driving internal controls and team performance.

The role requires extensive experience in manufacturing finance, PSAK/tax compliance, and ERP proficiency. Based in Semarang, you will report to the leadership team and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s Degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Background in a manufacturing company or PMA is preferred.
• Brevet A & B certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, costing, and transfer pricing.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Able to ensure compliance with PSAK and applicable tax regulations.
• Skilled in cash-flow management.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to be based in Semarang.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily bank positions, approve payments, manage cash buffers, and maintain a rolling 13-week cash forecast.
• Prepare the annual budget and monthly driver-based forecasts linking to P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, labor standards, overhead rates, and yield assumptions; communicate impact on margins.
• Publish weekly price, usage, efficiency, and product-mix variance reports and identify root causes.
• Maintain intercompany transfer-pricing documentation and policies; ensure tax compliance for exports.
• Deliver month-end closing by Day +5 and prepare financial statements with budget comparisons.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, credit checks, and DSO reduction plans for customers.
• Optimize Cash Conversion Cycle via dashboards and KPI tracking; drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead stock counts and inventory valuation; investigate variances and adjust records.
• Coordinate with tax consultants for VAT and income tax filings; maintain supporting docs.
• Manage banking relationships and foreign-exchange hedging per policy; monitor covenants.
• Review capital investment proposals using NPV/IRR; monitor expenditure and benefits.
• Enforce three-way matching, access controls, and segregation of duties; maintain vendor data.
• Maintain Chart of Accounts and automate financial dashboards for accurate reporting.
• Prepare audit schedules; support audits and maintain an audit-issues log.
• Draft SOPs for Finance, Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Closing processes; train staff.
• Set team objectives, coach staff, conduct performance reviews, and lead succession planning.
• Deliver financial bridges and KPI summaries to Directors for strategic decisions.
