PT AQS Group Indonesia is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead financial operations in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee cash flow, budgeting, cost management, transfer pricing, and financial reporting, while driving internal controls and team performance.

The Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the company’s financial and accounting operations, including cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, costing, transfer pricing, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, internal controls, audits, financial risk, and team performance.
Monitor daily bank positions, approve payments, manage cash buffers, and maintain a rolling 13-week cash forecast. Identify potential shortfalls and initiate corrective actions.
Prepare the annual budget and monthly driver-based forecasts covering Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Link forecasts to production volume, yields, energy consumption per ton, and scrap levels while identifying gaps and proposing mitigation plans.
Maintain Bills of Materials, routings, labor standards, overhead rates, and yield assumptions. Approve cost updates following engineering or price changes and communicate their impact on margins.
Publish weekly price, usage, efficiency, and product-mix variance reports. Identify root causes, assign action owners, and monitor completion to restore margins.
Maintain intercompany transfer-pricing documentation and policies, post monthly true-ups, and ensure compliance with customs, VAT, and income-tax requirements for export transactions.
Deliver an accurate month-end closing by Day +5. Reconcile ledgers, accruals, and provisions and prepare Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports with comparisons against the budget and latest forecast.
Ensure accurate invoicing and e-Faktur administration. Conduct credit checks, establish credit limits, manage collections and dispute resolution, allocate receipts, and prepare DSO-reduction plans for each customer.
Enforce three-way matching, maintain accurate vendor master data, schedule payment runs, optimize payment terms and early-payment discounts, manage withholding taxes, and improve DPO.
Optimize the Cash Conversion Cycle, including DSO, DIO, and DPO, through Power BI or Tableau dashboards, weekly action plans, and monthly KPIs. Co-lead cost-saving initiatives and ensure that realized savings are reflected in the Profit and Loss statement.
Ensure the accurate valuation of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods. Lead cycle counts and physical stock-taking, investigate discrepancies, and ensure that inventory variances are recorded correctly.
Coordinate with tax consultants to prepare and review VAT and Income Tax filings, including PPh 21, 23, 25, and 26. Ensure timely submission and payment and maintain supporting documents for export incentives.
Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and covenant compliance. Monitor foreign-exchange exposure from import and export transactions and execute hedging activities in accordance with company policy.
Review investment proposals using NPV, IRR, and payback analysis. Monitor project expenditure and conduct post-implementation and benefit-realization reviews.
Enforce the three-way matching process, approval matrix, appropriate user access, and segregation of duties. Maintain accurate vendor data and resolve control gaps.
Maintain the Chart of Accounts, standardize system postings, automate financial dashboards, and ensure a source of accurate financial information.
Prepare audit schedules and Provided by Client lists, support audit walkthroughs, resolve findings promptly, and maintain an updated audit-issues log.
Draft and update SOPs for Finance, Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Closing processes. Train Finance staff and conduct refresher sessions for non-finance teams.
Set team objectives, coach Finance and Accounting staff, conduct performance reviews, and lead succession planning while promoting cost discipline and cash ownership.
Deliver clear reports to Directors, including financial bridges, trend analyses, KPIs, and risk and countermeasure monitoring to support strategic decision-making.
Identify and assess financial risks, including credit, foreign-exchange, and liquidity risks. Coordinate with insurance brokers to maintain appropriate coverage and monitor claims and policy renewals.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s Degree preferred.
At least 7 years of experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
Background in a manufacturing company or PMA is preferred.
Brevet A & B certification is required.
Strong knowledge of financial management, costing, and transfer pricing.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Able to ensure compliance with PSAK and applicable tax regulations.
Skilled in cash-flow management.
Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Able to lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Willing to be based in Semarang.
