Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks a Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations in Semarang, Indonesia. This on-site role emphasizes financial control, budgeting, cost management, inventory reconciliation, tax compliance, and timely management reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with managerial or leadership responsibilities.
Experience in manufacturing or factory operations preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, GL, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliation, and accounting software.
Hands-on experience with transfer pricing is required.
Proven financial analytical, problem-solving, and cost-control capabilities.
Experience in developing and leading finance/accounting teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Willing to work on-site in Semarang and support factory/site requirements.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain accounting, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and financial control systems.
Lead, manage, train, and supervise the finance and accounting team.
Prepare monthly cost reports, quarterly P&L statements, annual financial reports, and management reports.
Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for different departments.
Review and approve purchases while monitoring expenses and maintaining cost controls.
Conduct and supervise account reconciliations and inventory verification.
Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Monitor financial performance and evaluate profitability and efficiency.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
