Job summary

Endress+Hauser is hiring a Field Service Engineer to deliver technical services at customer sites across Indonesia. The role involves installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for process instrumentation, with strong emphasis on customer interaction and value delivery.

The successful candidate will understand instrumentation, work independently, communicate effectively, and travel regularly within the service area.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning, or troubleshooting, preferably with process instrumentation or automation.
Knowledge of process instrumentation and ability to work with technical equipment in industrial environments.
Proficiency in IT applications and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SFDC, SAP).
Good communication in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site services at customer sites, including installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Endress+Hauser instruments.
Own customer issues through to resolution and coordinate escalation when needed.
Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
Advise customers on operation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and service improvements.
Provide technical guidance and training to customers and colleagues.
Utilize service platforms and systems to document and close service activities.
Identify opportunities for service upgrades and improvements to add value for customers.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
