Job summary

OSI Electronics in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. A Diploma or Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5+ years of experience is required to lead process development and optimization on site.

You will apply CAD tools, run simulations, uphold process standards, and collaborate across functions to improve efficiency and product quality in our production environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering from a reputable university.
• 5+ years experience in the same field.
• Proven work experience in process engineering.
• Excellent technical skills.
• Knowledge of process-related standards.
• Experience in process simulations.
• Working knowledge of process engineering software packages.
• CAD or AutoCAD skills.
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills, critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Team player, good time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment.
• Maintain and service critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment.
• Provide supervisory and technical support to colleagues and communicate with staff at all levels.
• Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by Metered are understood and met.
• Ensure that follow-up work requirements are referred back to the appropriate staff within Metered to enable necessary action and recommendations to clients.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectations and in doing so help to promote the image of the Company.
• Set a good example to colleagues by observing and obeying all company rules and regulations, complying with all site regulations, and safeguarding Company property.
• Set a good example to colleagues by completing all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with any guidelines or schedules issued.
• Attend all training courses and meetings as required by Metered and oversee development of colleagues.
• Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues, and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company at all times;
