Job summary

Glints is seeking an Outdoor Sales Executive to join the team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This field-oriented hybrid role requires clocking in at the office while spending most hours meeting clients, visiting prospects, and developing business opportunities in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding sector.

The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially driven, and comfortable working independently in a client-facing sales environment, with frequent local travel and a strong focus on building

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing within shipping/logistics/freight forwarding.
• Strong exposure to Export & Import business across international markets.
• Knowledge of logistics services such as FCL, LCL, Air Freight, and Value-Added Services (VAS).

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct client visits, meetings, and presentations to understand business needs and identify opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop customized shipping and logistics solutions.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, and commercial terms to secure new business.
• Attend industry events and networking sessions to generate new leads.
• Support development and execution of sales/marketing strategies to grow business.
• Monitor and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and accounts.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct frequent business travel and outdoor sales activities as required.
