Field Operations Executive / Supervisor - Freight Forwarding

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Field Operations Officer to oversee and coordinate our export/import freight forwarding operations on the ground. You will act as the key liaison between custom authorities, port terminals, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless clearance and cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end on-field export and import procedures at ports, airports, warehouses, and customs offices.
• Handle customs inspections directly, including physical examinations for Red Line (Jalur Merah) shipments.
• Prepare, verify, and process all necessary shipping and customs documentation (PIB, PEB, B/L, CIPL, COO, Delivery Orders, Storage, LoLo, TILA, etc.).
• Liaise and negotiate effectively with third-party vendors, shipping lines, warehouses, container depos, and customs officers to secure competitive rates and operational efficiency.
• Utilize existing industry networks to coordinate trucking logistics and smooth out customs hurdles on the ground.

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on field experience in freight forwarding and logistics operations (handling port, airport, and customs site workflows).
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian Customs (Bea Cukai) regulations and clearance procedures.
• Strong understanding of all export and import shipping documentation.
• Established local network/relationships within trucking fleets and customs authorities is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors, shipping lines, and official authorities.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is strongly preferred
