Job summary

World Vision is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee day-to-day implementation of the DRR-focused RISE project in Indonesia. You will supervise field staff, coordinate with district government, schools and partners, and ensure activities are delivered on time and to donor standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of humanitarian program experience, Indonesian language proficiency, and willingness to travel 50% field work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience or at least 1 year as a supervisor/coordinator in humanitarian programs.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is required, and knowledge of local languages in the project area is preferred. English proficiency is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with the conditions of the service area.
• Have his/her own vehicle. 50% Field 50% Admin.
• Must understand the field conditions and their limitations, as you will reside in the service area.
• Prepared to engage in field mobility activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of project activities and ensure alignment with donor requirements.
• Supervise the Project Officer and coordinate with district governments, schools, and partners.
• Monitor progress, consolidate reports, and manage risk and bottlenecks.
• Ensure safeguarding, GESI, CEA, and community accountability across activities.
