World Vision Indonesia seeks a Project Officer to coordinate the day-to-day planning and implementation of the RISE DRR project at the community level, working with villages, schools, and local partners to strengthen DESTANA and SPAB and to build disaster-resilience, food security, livelihoods, and financial literacy.

This role requires strong facilitation, field mobility (70% field, 30% admin), Bahasa Indonesia proficiency (English a plus), and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders to

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in social sciences is preferred, but candidates from other fields are also welcome.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience or at least 1 year as a development facilitator in humanitarian programs.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; knowledge of local languages is preferred. English proficiency is an added advantage.
• Must reside in the service area and be prepared to field mobility (70% Field, 30% Admin).
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Understanding of community development and mobilization concepts.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day planning and implementation of the RISE project at the community level.
• Serve as the primary community mobilizer, supporting activities and providing technical assistance to groups and partners.
• Coordinate with village governments, schools, and community groups to strengthen DESTANA and SPAB.
• Facilitate capacity-building activities on disaster resilience, food security, livelihoods, and financial literacy.
• Maintain program documentation, reporting, and coordination with supervisors and stakeholders.
