Job summary

ESYE is seeking a Fashion Designer to join our design team and work closely with the Senior Fashion Designer in developing ESYE's ready-to-wear collections.

This role involves trend research, moodboards, fabric selection, samplings and production, collaborating with sample makers and factories to refine garments and meet deadlines while contributing ideas and progressively taking on greater responsibilities.

• Able to create fashion illustrations and technical flats.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing seasonal ESYE ready-to-wear collections.
• Research fashion trends, colours, fabrics and silhouettes.
• Develop moodboards, design concepts and fashion illustrations.
• Prepare technical flats, measurements and garment specifications.
• Assist with pattern development, garment construction, and sample development.
• Work closely with sample makers to develop and refine garments.
• Participate in sample fittings and provide feedback on fit, proportion and construction.
• Review samples and communicate revisions clearly.
• Ensure designs reflect ESYE’s aesthetic and commercial direction.
• Support the Senior Fashion Designer with design and development tasks.

Job description

We are looking for a Fashion Designer to join our growing design team and work closely with our Senior Fashion Designer in developing ESYE's ready-to-wear collections.
You will be involved in the full design and product development process, from trend research and concept development to fabric selection, samplings and production.

This is an opportunity for a creative and motivated designer to develop their skills, contribute ideas and progressively take on greater responsibilities as they grow with ESYE.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing seasonal ESYE ready-to-wear collections

Research fashion trends, colours, fabrics and silhouettes

Develop moodboards, design concepts and fashion illustrations

Prepare technical flats, measurements and garment specifications

Assist with the selection of fabrics, colours, trims and other garment details

Assist with pattern development, garment construction, and sample development

Work closely with sample makers to develop and refine garments

Participate in sample fittings and provide feedback on fit, proportion and construction

Review samples and communicate revisions clearly

Ensure designs reflect ESYE’s aesthetic and commercial direction

Support the Senior Fashion Designer with design and development tasks

Maintain organized design files, samples and product information

Requirements:

Commercially aware and conscious of the customer

Interested in fabrics, garment construction and fit

Has an understanding of pattern making

Able to create fashion illustrations and technical flats
