Job summary

PT Cemerlang Global Media is seeking a Fashion Editor to direct visual storytelling and written coverage across our fashion vertical. The role requires proven on-set production experience, sharp fashion commentary, and established industry connections.

You will lead creative shoots, liaise with photographers and stylists, and craft compelling trend coverage while maintaining editorial standards. Strong English proficiency and a broad professional network are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fashion editor, senior stylist, or fashion journalist in print or digital media.
• A portfolio showcasing completed photoshoots, creative direction, and published fashion writing (mandatory).
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong professional network of photographers, stylists, hair and make‑up artists, and model management agencies.
• Deep knowledge of global fashion trends, luxury markets, and editorial styling.
• Strong organisational skills to oversee multiple shoots under tight editorial deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Creative Direction & Editorial Shoots: Conceptualise creative concepts, develop mood boards, and lead fashion spreads from inception to final layout. Direct on-set production for both studio and location shoots.
• Talent Sourcing & Production Management: Liaise with external creative talent, including fashion photographers, model agencies, and styling crews. Manage wardrobe pulls, call sheets, and shoot schedules directly.
• Fashion Journalism & Feature Writing: Write incisive trend reports, designer profiles, and long‑form features. Deliver engaging, well‑researched copy tailored to our editorial standard.
• Layout & Editorial Collaboration: Work alongside the art director and graphic designers to finalise image selects, retouching briefs, and editorial spreads.
• Industry Relations: Represent the publication at fashion weeks, press previews, and brand launches. Maintain strong working relationships with luxury fashion houses and PR agencies.
