We are seeking an experienced and visionary Fashion Product Development Manager to lead the end-to-end product development process while overseeing three core functions: Fashion Brand, Sourcing & Product Development, and Sample Room. This role is reporting to COO and responsible for driving seasonal product strategies, ensuring design excellence, managing cross-functional execution, and delivering commercially successful collections that align with the company's brand identity and business objectives.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Lead and manage the Fashion Brand, Sourcing & Product Development, and Sample Room teams to ensure effective collaboration and seamless execution across the entire product development process.
Develop seasonal collection strategies and creative concepts based on market trends, consumer insights, and business objectives.
Drive trend forecasting, color direction, fabric innovation, silhouette development, and product assortment planning.
Oversee the complete product lifecycle from concept, design, sourcing, sample development, approvals, and production handover.
Ensure all products meet brand identity, quality standards, target costing, and customer expectations.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Ecommerce and Marketing to ensure timely product launches.
Lead sourcing strategies by identifying suitable suppliers, fabrics, trims, and manufacturing solutions that balance quality, cost, and lead time.
Oversee the daily operations of the Sample Room to ensure efficient sample development and sample development calendar by setting priorities based on business needs, seasonal launches, and critical deadlines.
Supervise sample development, fitting sessions, garment construction reviews, and product refinements before production
Work closely with Pattern Makers, Product Developers, and Designers to resolve technical issues during sample development.
Review and approve design specifications, technical packages, BOMs, material selections, trims, artwork, and construction details.
Evaluate product performance and market feedback to continuously improve future collections with other departments
Establish and continuously improve product development processes, SOPs, and cross-functional workflows.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer custom projects, managing communication with customers, aligning project requirements and expectations, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution from concept through final delivery.
Prepare product presentations, development updates and KPIM reports
REQUIREMENT :
Minimum 10 years of experience in the fashion or apparel industry, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams, preferably across Design, Sourcing & Product Development, and Sample Room functions.
Strong knowledge of apparel product development, garment construction, pattern development, fitting, fabrics, trims, sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
Solid understanding of product costing, quality standards, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
Excellent project management, planning, and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Results‑oriented, innovative, detail‑focused, and capable of thriving in a fast‑paced fashion environment.
