Job summary

Tera Fashion in Jakarta seeks a Product Development expert to optimize sample garments and bring them to commercial reality for Indonesian womenswear. You will source samples, modify sizing, fit, and fabric, and manage production with local factories.

You will lead pattern making, grading, and Tech Pack creation while coordinating with factories, ensuring bulk production matches approved samples, and using market data to improve future products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion, especially in womenswear.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce or fast fashion.
• Strong skills in pattern making, grading, fitting, and garment construction.
• Good knowledge of fabric properties, including drape, shrinkage, and colorfastness.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and Tech Pack preparation.
• Strong knowledge of local fabric, trim, and garment factory markets in Indonesia.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Willing to travel to factories/markets and accept Saturday work schedules.

Responsibilities

We are a fast-growing e-commerce fashion brand specializing in dresses designed for womenswear. seeking a Product Development expert with a deep understanding of the local Indonesian market. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize sample garments and bring them to commercial reality. You will be responsible for sourcing samples (locally or internationally), modifying them (sizing, fit, fabric) according to Indonesian body shapes and trends, and managing the entire production process by liaising with local factories.
