Job summary

Sylmi Basic is seeking a Fashion R&D/Product Design professional to research, evaluate, and report on fashion products, and to develop new samples that align with current trends or client requests.

You will establish R&D programs to improve quality, standardize size and stitching with QC, ensure materials and patterns meet standards, and lead techniques for stitching and product design details. Strong leadership and ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or Clothing Construction.
• 3–5 years of experience in Fashion R&D or Product Design.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.
• Ability to create patterns, sew, and assemble production kits.
• Understanding of product development processes, trend forecasting, and competitor research.
• Creative, innovative, detail-oriented with strong design and material sense.
