Job summary

Shopee is seeking a Facility Management technician to implement safety programs and 5S across all areas. You will oversee equipment operation, perform daily checks, and coordinate preventive maintenance with the reporting manager.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering, basic high voltage, and hands-on experience with generators, MHE, doors, ACs, pumps, and wastewater considerations. Based in Jabodetabek, warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Vocational School of Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Facility Management.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering with its operational standard, and high voltage.
• Experience in daily operation of facility management and equipment maintenance (generator sets, MHE, loading docks, rolling doors, AC, pumps).
• Knowledge of building construction, fire protection systems, wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety checks such as Take-2 for regular and irregular jobs, including third-party safety assessments.
• Follow safety regulations and ensure safety permits are on hand before work; monitor safety standard implementation.
• Implement 5S at all working areas and control all facility equipment.
• Perform regular/daily checks per procedures and shift instructions from Reporting Manager.
• Execute preventive maintenance and respond to work orders per supervisor guidance.
• Manage consumables and maintenance of tools, equipment, PPE.
• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and provide improvement guidance.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement energy saving initiatives.

Job Description

• Implement \"Take-2\" (or safety check) for the regular and irregular jobs, including safety working assessment (including third party).
• Follow company's safety regulations, such as ensure safety working permit on hand before working (including third party), monitor safety standard implementation by initiating safety check for the regular and irregular jobs, and assist to conduct safety assessment with third party to ensure quality of the work and safety implementation at all areas under Facility Management.
• Implement 5S at all working areas.
• Control and run all equipment and facility under Facility Management as applied procedure.
• Do regular and daily check based on applied procedure and daily shift instruction from Reporting Manager.
• Implement Working Instruction to all equipment and facility under Facility Management.
• Do preventive maintenance based on schedule, and corrective action based on received Work Order and instruction from Reporting Manager.
• Do consumable stock control and maintenance of tools, equipment, PPE.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and give suggestion of each mechanical and electrical issue occurred.
• Implement regular energy consumption monitoring check sheet and control.
• Improve energy management by implementing energy saving initiatives.
• Execute, control, and record all approved Work Order by Facility Management Manager from other departments as its requirement of quality and time.
