Job summary

Marriott International - Sheraton Surabaya is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to lead the property's F&B and culinary operations. You will develop and implement department strategies, ensure service excellence, and maximize financial performance.

In this leadership role, you will manage Restaurants/Bars, Room Service, and Banquets/Catering, drive brand initiatives, and mentor the F&B leadership team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in F&B/culinary/event management or related area.
• OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 4 years experience in F&B/culinary/event management or related area.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains F&B/culinary goals aligned with brand strategy.
• Manages budgets, monitors sales, and ensures profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Leads F&B leadership team, fosters collaboration, drives performance and cost control.
• Ensures exceptional customer service and continuous improvement through staff coaching.
• Oversees human resources activities including recruiting, training, and performance management.
• Communicates with executives and teams, analyzes data to drive operational decisions.
