Job summary

PT Agro Perkasa, a subsidiary of Mewah Group, is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage monthly payroll, deductions, and statutory payments in Jakarta. You will maintain accurate records and respond to payroll inquiries while ensuring compliance with BPJS and PPh 21.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in HR/Accounting/Finance, has 3+ years of executive payroll experience, and is proficient in Excel and payroll software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years' payroll experience for executive roles.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll laws (BPJS, PPh 21).
• Proficient in Excel and payroll software.
• Excellent communication and data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end monthly payroll including salary, deductions, and statutory payments.
• Maintain and update payroll records with data accuracy.
• Handle payroll-related queries and provide timely resolution.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for internal and statutory purposes.
• Ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and external vendors.
• Support audits and internal controls related to payroll.

Job description

PT Agro Perkasa is a subsidiary of Mewah Group, a global agri-business company specializing in edible oils and fats, listed on the Singapore Exchange since 2010. The company operates primarily in the palm oil downstream industry, focusing on the production of Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE), and refined cooking oil.

Placement in Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

In this position, we need you to play vital role in:

Process end-to-end monthly payroll including salary computation, deductions, and statutory payments (BPJS, PPh 21, etc.).

Maintain and update employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy.

Handle payroll-related queries and provide timely resolution.

Prepare payroll reports and reconciliation for internal and statutory purposes.

Ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations.

Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors as required.

Support audits and internal controls related to payroll.

Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.

What you will need to succeed in this role:

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

Possesses a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on payroll experience for Executive roles.

Well‑versed in Indonesian payroll laws, including PPh 21 tax regulations and BPJS administration.

Skilled in Microsoft Excel and experienced with various payroll software/platforms.

Maintains a strong focus on accuracy, ensures confidentiality, and demonstrates excellent attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Proven ability to perform well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.
