Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and public areas across multiple properties in Ubud, Bali. This role demands hands-on leadership, impeccable cleanliness standards, and the ability to drive guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will manage a large team, develop SOPs, supervise inspections, and optimize linen, amenities, and equipment while controlling costs. English fluency is essential, and on-site work in Bali is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field.
• 5–8 years in housekeeping with 2–3 years in supervisory roles.
• Experience leading 100–200+ employees across multi-property operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily housekeeping, room preparation, turn-down services, public area cleanliness, and laundry operations across multiple properties.
• Maintain consistently high cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms, private pool villas, boutique hotel rooms, and public areas.
• Conduct daily inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation issues before they affect guest experience.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve housekeeping SOPs, quality standards, inspection checklists, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with Engineering and other operational departments to ensure rooms, villas, amenities, furnishings, and facilities remain in excellent condition.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and develop a large housekeeping workforce across multiple properties, including supervisors, housekeepers, attendants, and supporting staff.
• Conduct regular training programs covering housekeeping standards, room presentation, chemical safety, SOP compliance, guest service, and operational procedures.
• Manage housekeeping budgets, linen inventories, guest amenities, cleaning equipment, chemicals, and other operational supplies.
• Monitor laundry operations, linen usage, stock levels, and turnover to improve operational efficiency and control costs without compromising service quality.
• Establish a strong culture of accountability, discipline, cleanliness, and operational excellence across the housekeeping function.
• Respond proactively to guest complaints and operational issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurring problems.
