MatchaTalent is seeking an Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and public areas across luxury properties in Ubud, Bali. This senior role demands hands-on leadership, strict adherence to zero-defect cleanliness, and the ability to manage a large on-site team with discipline and excellence.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in housekeeping at senior levels, strong English, and proven experience overseeing operations across multiple properties, with a focus on cost control

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is required.
• 5-8 years of progressive housekeeping experience with 2-3 years in supervision/management.
• Experience leading 100-200+ employees across multiple properties.
• Strong knowledge of luxury housekeeping standards, laundry, inventory, and chemical handling.
• Proven ability to develop/enforce SOPs, conduct inspections, and manage costs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Ubud, Bali.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily housekeeping, room preparation, turn-down, public areas, and laundry across multiple properties.
• Maintain high cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, villas, and public areas.
• Conduct daily inspections and quality audits to pre-empt issues.
• Develop and continuously improve housekeeping SOPs, quality standards, and checklists.
• Coordinate with Engineering and other departments to maintain facilities.
• Lead and develop a large housekeeping workforce across properties.
• Provide regular training on standards, safety, SOPs, guest service and procedures.
• Manage budgets, linen inventories, amenities, equipment, and chemicals.
• Monitor linen usage and stock levels to control costs while preserving service quality.
