Job summary

JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA seeks an enthusiastic Event Support contributor in Jakarta Selatan. You will prepare documents, arrange dining setups, ensure equipment works, and serve infused water to guests, coordinating with the checker for smooth service flow.

Your role includes friendly food service, VIP presentation, maintaining cleanliness, and tracking event materials. Strong planning and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Max 1 year of event marketing/service experience; F&B industry preferred.
• Diploma (D3) in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Well-groomed with excellent table manners.
• Strong planning and event execution skills.
• Formal hospitality training or related coursework.
• Strong negotiation, creative and strategic thinking.
• Able to work independently and in a team; travel and multitask.
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and proactive.
• Motivated, results-oriented, engaging, and positive.
• Proficient in MS Office; Canva/Photoshop optional.
• Strong English communication skills.

• Support event processes, including preparing necessary documents for customers
• Set up the dining area by arranging plates, cutlery, tissues, and placemats according to standards
• Ensure all event equipment and devices are properly set up and functioning
• Prepare and serve infused water for guests upon arrival
• Coordinate with the checker regarding food delivery and service flow
• Serve food in a friendly and professional manner, following standard procedures
• Monitor guest tables to anticipate needs such as drink refills, additional requests, and feedback
• Report customer complaints or special requests promptly to the checker
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area at all times
• Ensure the most presentable dishes are prioritized for VIP guests and customers
• Keep track of all event materials and supplies to ensure availability and organization
• Act as an operator by managing and operating event-related equipment or systems
• Support post-ideation activities and follow-up task

Requirements

• Maximum 1 year of experience in event marketing and/or service (F&B industry experience is mandatory), Fresh graduate with internship experienced are welcome
• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or related fields
• Well-groomed with excellent table manners
• Strong planning and event execution skills
• Formal hospitality training or relevant coursework
• Strong negotiation skills, creative and strategic thinking
• Able to work independently and in a team, willing to travel, and capable of multitasking
