Job summary

Techconnect.id is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional in Indonesia's mining sector. You will expand the EV footprint by building partnerships, securing clients, and tailoring fleet and charging solutions for mining operations.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in BD or sales within mining or heavy equipment, a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical engineering, travel frequently to site locations, and strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in business development or sales within mining, heavy equipment, or transportation industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related field.
• Proven success in selling capital equipment, fleet solutions, or mining logistics services.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities within the mining sector for EV VaaS offerings.
• Build and maintain relationships with mining operators, contractors, and logistics partners.
• Develop tailored commercial proposals and business cases aligned with clients' needs.
• Lead the end-to-end business development process from lead generation to deal closure.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to design fleet and charging solutions.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategy.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions.
• Willingness to travel frequently to mining sites across Indonesia.
