Job summary

BYD Indonesia seeks a Flash Charging Business Development Manager to drive expansion and commercialization of flash charging. You will identify strategic partnerships, develop infrastructure opportunities, and support EV ecosystem growth in Indonesia.

Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, conducting market research, and building financial models for charging projects. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to deploy networks and achieve growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Energy Management).
• At least 5 years in BD, project or infrastructure development, energy or EV sectors.
• Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure and energy mobility solutions.
• Proven experience in partnerships, negotiations and contract management.
• Strong financial analysis and business case development skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new flash charging opportunities.
• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with property developers, commercial businesses, government agencies, utilities, and charging operators.
• Lead negotiations and contract discussions to support charging network expansion.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and growth opportunities.
• Develop business cases, investment proposals, and financial models for charging infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful project implementation.
• Monitor performance, charging station utilization, and revenue growth, recommending improvements.
• Prepare regular business development reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for management.
