Job summary

Shangri-La Hotel, Surabaya seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering team and ensure smooth operation of all hotel systems. You will manage technicians, prioritize emergencies, and support projects to uphold our high service standards.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical and experience with an International 5* hotel group, plus fluency in English. Willingness to work shifts is essential.

• Experience with an International 5* hotel group preferred.
• Fluent in English (and local language).
• Self-starter with motivation to lead and inspire.

• Manage, coach and supervise the engineering technicians.

• Attend to emergency work requests and prioritise accordingly.
• Support engineering projects through planning, supervision and execution.

• Preferably has experience in civil, mechanical electrical engineering

• Has experience as a Duty Engineer or equivalent in a hotel
• Has a Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical
• Has relevant experience with an International 5* Hotel Group
• Communicates with fluency in English (and the local language)
• A motivator and a self-starter
