Job summary

Sumi Hotel in Mangga Besar, Tamansari, Jakarta Barat is seeking an experienced engineering/maintenance leader. The role focuses on supervising facilities, coordinating maintenance programs, and ensuring safety and efficiency across hotel systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years in engineering or maintenance, and 3–5 years in a supervisory role, with strong leadership and cross-department collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) required.
• Professional certification or engineering license advantageous; certification in safety, fire systems, or building management preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering or maintenance; 3-5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience managing hotel facilities, maintenance programs, and engineering teams.

• Plan, organize, and supervise engineering and maintenance operations.

Job description

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).

Professional certification or engineering license is advantageous; certification in safety, fire systems, or building management preferred.

Willing to be place in Mangga Besar, Tamansari, Jakarta Barat

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.

At least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.

Experience in managing hotel facilities, maintenance programs, and engineering teams.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety systems, and mechanical equipment.

Experience in preventive maintenance programs and facility management.

Familiar with energy management systems and cost control.

Knowledge of local safety regulations and building codes.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to plan, organize, and supervise engineering and maintenance operations.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Communication

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to coordinate with other departments and external contractors.

Proficiency in English communication is preferred.
