Job summary

Shangri-La Surabaya is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the hotel’s engineering team, ensuring all building services and equipment run smoothly to support guests and operations.

You will coach technicians, prioritize emergency work, and contribute to projects and audits, while upholding the brand’s service standards.

Fluency in English and a passion for engineering are essential, along with hotel experience and a Diploma or Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical.
• Experience as a Duty Engineer or equivalent in a hotel is preferred.
• Strong interest in engineering with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Excellent English communication; local language helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and supervise the engineering technicians.
• Ensure all equipment runs smoothly at all times.
• Carry out and prioritise emergency work requests.
• Support engineering projects through planning, supervision and execution.
• Support the audit and training programmes.
