Job summary

BWork Uluwatu, a part of Daewoong Bio Indonesia, seeks a Maintenance and Facilities Engineering Staff to ensure facility reliability across hospitality, coworking, café, wellness, and restaurant spaces in Bali. You will maintain MEP systems, respond quickly to issues, support safety, optimize energy use, and help keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires a diploma or high school degree in hospitality management or related field, plus experience in coworking or hospitality

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot MEP systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) across areas.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for facilities.
• Monitor air conditioning performance and room temperatures.
• Handle repairs promptly to minimize disruption.
• Oversee generators, pumps, and backup utilities for outages readiness.
• Ensure safety compliance including fire systems and emergency readiness.
• Monitor energy use and improve efficiency across areas.
• Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.
• Coordinate with departments for renovations and projects.

Job description

Maintenance and Facilities Engineering Staff role at BWork Uluwatu. Ensure facility reliability, maintain MEP systems, respond to issues, support safety, optimize energy use, and ensure smooth operations across all areas.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all MEP systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) across hospitality, coworking, café, wellness, and restaurant areas (response time ≤ 15 minutes)
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for facilities, equipment, and utilities
• Monitor and ensure optimal performance of air conditioning systems and room temperature standards
• Handle repairs and technical issues promptly to minimize operational disruption
• Oversee generator, pump systems, and backup utilities to ensure readiness during outages
• Ensure safety compliance including fire systems, hydrants, and emergency response readiness
• Monitor and improve energy efficiency and utility usage across all areas
• Maintain inventory of engineering tools, spare parts, and materials
• Coordinate with other departments and support operational needs, renovations, and projects

About you

• A diploma or high school degree in hospitality management, business or a related field
• Coworking or related field experiences
• Experience working in a multinational company
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Familiarity with the local business environment in Bali
