Job summary

Austin Engineering Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication initiatives in Batam, Indonesia.

You will plan, schedule, and control scope, cost, and resources to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to customer specifications. The role requires strong planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills, with English proficiency and PMP experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8–10+ years of project management experience in engineering/manufacturing/fabrication environments.
• Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong skills in planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management and resource coordination.
• Experience with engineering, fabrication, manufacturing or industrial projects is highly desirable.
• PM methodologies and project controls knowledge; PMP is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with milestones and priorities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Fabrication, Quality, HSE, Logistics, Finance and subcontractors.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and resource utilization; address variances.
• Track progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation or recovery plans.
• Lead meetings, report progress and manage stakeholder communications.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety and customer requirements.
• Coordinate project close-out and lessons learned.
