Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead a team of process engineers in improving capabilities across manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on establishing SPC systems, optimizing throughput, and delivering cost-reduction initiatives while coordinating cross-functional efforts with engineering teams to design producible processes. A strong background in process engineering and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
• Typically requires 7 years of engineering experience including supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that meet product specs, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts.
• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
