• Experience monitoring and evaluating mechanical maintenance across multiple units.
• Understanding of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, heavy equipment, boilers, turbines, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to perform engineering assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with engineering project management from planning and budgeting to implementation and evaluation.
• Maintains maintenance cost control, spare parts planning, and equipment reliability.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
• Willing to travel on business to visit operational units.

Assist SM Project to prepare and conduct engineering and mechanical maintenance activities of the company’s OU, including ensuring the effectiveness of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and maintenance cost control, as well as the implementation of engineering projects in accordance with the company’s technical standards, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of work experience in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or Engineering Projects.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience at palm oil plantation companies, particularly in plantations and palm oil mills (PKS).

Experience monitoring and evaluating mechanical maintenance across multiple operational units.

Understanding of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.

Knowledge of industrial machinery, heavy equipment, operational vehicles, boilers, turbines, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.

The deed of establishment was approved by the Minister of Justice in his decision letter No. J.A 5/98/22 dated September 21, 1961 and was published in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia No. 97 dated December 5, 1961, Supplement No. 650. The company is further established to be a management company for the SIPEF Group, Jabelmalux Group, and PT. Agro Muko activities in Indonesia and is managing about 66.303 ha of oil palm plantations in Sumatera.
