Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or Engineering Projects.
• Preference for experience at palm oil plantation companies, particularly in plantations and palm oil mills (PKS).
• Experience monitoring and evaluating mechanical maintenance across multiple units.
• Understanding of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery, heavy equipment, boilers, turbines, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to perform engineering assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with engineering project management from planning and budgeting to implementation and evaluation.
• Maintains maintenance cost control, spare parts planning, and equipment reliability.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
• Willing to travel on business to visit operational units.

Responsibilities

• Assist SM Project to prepare and conduct engineering and mechanical maintenance activities for the company’s OU.
• Ensure effectiveness of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Support maintenance cost control and budgeting in line with technical standards.
• Contribute to implementation of engineering projects from planning to evaluation.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with units across the organization to ensure maintenance schedules are met.
