Job summary

PT. SAAT INDUSTRI INDONESIA is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Head to plan and oversee all maintenance of machinery, facilities and utilities. The role ensures reliability, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement through KPIs and CAPEX oversight.

You will lead engineering projects, coordinate with vendors, and drive SHE initiatives while developing your team across the factory. English communication and deep technical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in a manufacturing environment; tobacco/FMCG preferred.
• Experience with problem solving tools and quality methodologies (Six Sigma/8D/FMEA).
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Strong analytical, forward thinking and conceptual thinking.
• Capable of managing internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee maintenance of machineries, facilities, and equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance, KPI development and budgeting for factory plants.
• Ensure equipment testing, calibration and availability of spare parts and manpower.
• Lead engineering projects and resolve engineering problems.
• Oversee installation of new production equipment and commissioning with vendors.
• Manage CAPEX investment and execution.
• Control energy and utilities consumption to ensure cost efficiency.
• Develop and drive department KPIs and lead performance analysis.
• Lead and develop subordinates and ensure SHE program implementation.
