Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians and utility operators at our manufacturing facility in Indonesia.

You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance for production machinery, building infrastructure, and utility systems, develop strategies to minimize downtime, manage spares and budgets, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance and utility supervision experience in manufacturing/industrial environments (food processing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC and boiler operations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with ability to develop staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in CMMS software.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and utility operators.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery, building infrastructure, and utility systems (e.g., electrical, water, HVAC, steam).
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and best practices to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and ensure the availability of critical components.
• Monitor and analyze utility consumption, identify areas for improvement, and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance evaluations of equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert guidance to the maintenance team.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and report on maintenance performance metrics.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals and new projects.
