PT Deltamas Solusindo is seeking an HVAC Engineer to design, install, commission, and optimize HVAC systems across production facilities and offices in Indonesia. You will work with mechanical and electrical teams, prepare layouts and BOQs, and ensure energy efficiency and safety compliance.
The role requires 2–5 years in HVAC engineering, strong knowledge of HVAC systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Revit knowledge is a plus.
HVAC Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, commissioning, maintaining, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, energy-efficient, and reliable environment for production facilities, offices, and other company buildings.
Design and develop HVAC systems based on building, production, and environmental requirements
Prepare HVAC layouts, calculations, technical specifications, BOQ, and engineering documentation
Manage HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
Monitor HVAC system performance, including temperature, humidity, airflow, and energy consumption
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance planning for HVAC equipment
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, production, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams
Review technical drawings, equipment specifications, and vendor proposals
Ensure HVAC systems comply with applicable safety standards, regulations, and company requirements
Identify opportunities to improve HVAC system efficiency, reliability, and operating costs
Troubleshoot HVAC equipment such as AHU, FCU, chiller, cooling tower, compressor, ventilation, and exhaust systems
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in HVAC engineering, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial buildings
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, ventilation, air distribution, and cooling systems
Able to perform HVAC load calculations and basic energy-efficiency analysis
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other HVAC design software is an advantage
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, technical specifications, and equipment datasheets
Familiar with HVAC installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of applicable SNI, ASHRAE, and safety standards is preferred
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and vendors
