Job summary

AccorHotels Indonesia is seeking a Duty Engineer for Pullman Jakarta Central Park, a 5-star hotel in West Jakarta. You will ensure seamless 24/7 operation of hotel MEP utilities during nights and weekends, acting as the first responder for emergencies.

The role focuses on monitoring, preventive maintenance, rapid breakdown response, energy management, and safety/compliance. Indonesian and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years previous experience within similar role as Engineering Supervisor and/or Duty Engineer.
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Good knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil work or HVAC, Kitchen and Laundry.
• Working experience in 5* hotel operation is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring: Conduct BMS panel rounds every 2 hours for electricity, HVAC, chillers, boilers, generators, pumps, elevators, WTP/STP. Log all readings.
• Shift Preventive Maintenance: Execute minor PMs per shift schedule: AHU filter changes, generator oil checks, emergency light tests, cooling tower flushing.
• Breakdown Response: Respond <5 mins for power failure, AC down, no water, stuck elevator. Perform isolation, bypass, or generator startup per SOP.
• Energy Management: Control electrical load during peak demand. Adjust AC setpoints for public areas at night to save energy without affecting guest comfort.
• Safety & Compliance: Test fire alarms, smoke detectors, sprinkler zones per schedule. Enforce LOTO during work. Check for gas/refrigerant leaks.

Job Description

To ensure seamless 24/7 operation of all hotel MEP utilities and systems during the assigned shift. The goal: guests never feel any disruption to electricity, AC, hot water, elevators, etc. The Duty Engineer is the "pilot" of the hotel during nights, weekends, and holidays - the first decision-maker for any emergency or breakdown.
