Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Mechanical Design professional to develop parts for MV/LV equipment and support 3D modeling, simulation, and problem solving.

You will work with Technical Antenna Engineers and ensure QSHE compliance while adhering to ISO and IEC standards. This role emphasizes design, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration within a global energy management context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• CREO experience and mechanical design knowledge for switchgear.
• MV/LV equipment knowledge and related quality processes.
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian; familiarity with ISO, IEC, and other standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts for MV/LV equipment.
• Perform 3D modeling and simulation to support problem solving and QVE projects.
• Support antenna engineers in qualification of parts and components.
• Ensure QSHE standards compliance across activities.

What will you do?

• To design and develop mechanical parts required for technical management activities and the adaptation of MV/LV equipment.
• To perform 3D modeling and simulation to support problem-solving, productivity improvement, localization projects, and Value Engineering (QVE) initiatives.
• To support Technical Antenna Engineers in the qualification of parts and components, particularly regarding mechanical properties and performance requirements.

Expected Contributions :

• Design, create, and modify mechanical drawings and documentation required for MV/LV equipment development and maintenance.
• Develop and simulate parts and components using 3D modeling tools to support problem resolution, productivity enhancement, localization, and QVE projects.
• Verify and validate hardware, components, and metallic parts dimensions and mechanical properties in accordance with PPEP and MCA requirements.
• Ensure all activities comply with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) standards and regulations.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Degree from Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Mechanical designer & process use CREO, Understand mechanical design on switchgear
• MV / LV Equipment Knowledge, Quality product aspect, role of the manufacturing process testing and Inspection knowledge , International Standard ( ISO, JIS, IEC, NEMA, ANSI )
• Language skill in English, and Indonesia, Mechanical skill & ISO, CREO, Electro Mechanical, Microsoft Excel, Communication skill, Quality system
